Technical Details

This is a Tricoat finish, which is the gold standard for luxury depth but requires a specific strategy for the DIYer. Unlike a solid color, the depth comes from a semi-transparent mid-layer that sits over the base. If you apply this mid-layer too thick with your Pen or Nozzle, the repair area will look darker or more "packed" with flake than the rest of the door.
