In this era, your mission is to seal the edges immediately. If you spot a rock chip or a spot where the clear coat is starting to lift, don't wait for the weekend. Moisture loves to crawl under the clear coat and bridge the gap between the color and the protection, causing the failure to spread. When you're using our touch-up kit, lightly sand the "frayed" edges of the peeling clear coat with a fine grit to level it out before applying the basecoat.
