Once that clear lifts, your Luxo Blue or Sport Red base coat is sitting naked in the sun, and it won't take long for the UV rays to turn that premium finish into a chalky, flat mess.

Build your layers thin: base first, let it tack, then the pearl mid-coat, and finally, seal it with clear. If the clear coat is already starting to fail at the edges, sand back the loose bits gently before applying your touch-up to "glue" the remaining clear down to the surface.
