What to Watch For

While these colors look like a million bucks, some of them-especially the whites and lighter metallics-have a reputation for getting a bit "tired" over time. Keep an eye on the roof and hood; the clear coat can sometimes act like a bad sunburn, flaking off in small sheets if it's spent too much time in the sun. To find your specific color code, don't just check the door jamb. Chevrolet likes to hide the Service Parts Identification (SPID) label in a few different "secret" spots: check the inside of your glove box, the underside of the trunk lid, or even stuck to the spare tire cover. Look for a code starting with "WA" or "U" at the bottom of the sticker.
