What to Watch For

Before you start dabbing, you need your secret recipe-the paint code. On the Discovery Sport, Land Rover likes to play hide-and-seek. Check the passenger side B-pillar (open the front door and look at the post between the doors) or the driver's side door jamb. If it's not there, pop the hood and look at the radiator support bar near the latch.

In terms of "character flaws," this paint is known for being a bit soft. It's a luxury SUV that sometimes acts like it's wearing a silk suit to a mud wrestle; the clear coat is prone to stone chips on the front bumper and the leading edge of the hood.
