Whether you're rocking Phoenix Orange Pearl or one of the approximately fifteen versions of grey (shoutout to Waitomo, Carpathian, and Corris), they really went for it. It's a sophisticated palette that proves you can be rugged and high-fashion at the same time.

What to Watch For

Before you start, you need the "LRC" code. On an Evoque, you'll usually find this on a sticker in the driver's door jamb or hiding on a plate under the hood near the radiator support. Now, for the reality check: the Evoque has a bit of a reputation for "social" clear coat-meaning it likes to leave the car and hang out on the ground. Keep a close eye on your pillar trims (those glossy black sections between the windows) and the edges of the hood. These spots are prone to peeling and stone chips, but don't worry-it's nothing a steady hand can't handle.

Driveway Repair Tip

Since so many Evoque colors are Pearls or Metallics (like Sumatra Black Pearl or Seoul Pearl Silver), those tiny flakes like to settle at the bottom of the bottle. Shake your touch-up pen or bottle for a full two minutes-not just a quick wiggle-to wake up those sparkles. When applying, remember that the Evoque's factory finish is quite thin. Instead of one big glob to fill a chip, apply two or three paper-thin layers, waiting about 15 minutes between them. If you're working on those metallic shades, they require patience to get the flake to lay flat, so take your time and don't rush the dry time!
